| I haven't touched this in a while. ;P
So yeah... I'm working full time now at DTE Energy. My beloved spring semester is over. I got 5 A's and a B+. Woohoo! The play concluded well. Some pix: http://dagenet.ath.cx/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=33504 For those of you who didn't know, I was Petruchio in Taming of the Shrew. (See the previous post).
It's rather hard to adjust from college life to work life. It was more normal to go to bed closer to 6. Now I have to get up at 6. Oh weelll. Tomorrow I have a tour of the 3rd biggest power plant in the US. Very cool. I'm working in the general offices in the heart of Detroit, but I will probably get random jobs at power plants, which rocks. Gas prices don't rock, but that's another matter.
Other stuff: I don't have a laptop anymore, for the first time in 5 years. I had to turn my school laptop in, and let my friend borrow my other laptop for a 6 week missions trip to Japan. He leaves Tuesday. I kinda like being freed from my computer.
I've also been doing a ton of other things besides work, but I don't really feel like typing more.

| I'm taking a class called World Masterpieces 1 at school. I'm in LTU's honors program as well. On the first day of class, my professor announced that since we were honors, we were going to be doing a production of Taming of the Shrew and that we were all obligated to play a part.
Auditions were last Wednesday and were open to the whole school. Half the people that came wanted tech spots. (duh! :P) I showed up and asked her for a small part because I'm taking 19 credit hours and am incredibly busy. I read some of Petruchio's lines.
Friday morning, I went into class and my professor sat there, grinning at me. I asked her what was up and she asked if I had seen the cast list. I very cautiously replied "Nooo...?" Anyway, she cast me as Petruchio, printed and published the cast list all without telling me.
STOP LAUGHING!!!! It's NOT FUNNYYYYY!!!!
I have some pictures of my trip to Russia on a website I'm plugging away at. Technically, it's not a "website" that I'm "making" so much as it is that I found a nice php program on sourceforge.net to run on my server for a picture gallery. The link is http://dagenet.ath.cx/gallery2
So far, I have about 7,000 pictures on it, mostly of Russia and the Czech Republic. ^_^ I might eventually put more pictures up... I put some blank album places in just in case.
I need some new servers. Anybody want to donate money or parts to me? I just upgraded my file server from a 266mhz P2 to a 2.7ghz celeron. Huge difference. But it's not quite enough. The processor still peaks out when I nail the raid arrays... maybe I should try some different drivers. Anyway.
*edit* Anybody have suggestions for the font color? Jessica, I think you took this picture. Look familiar? :)
